Two of those featured on “Water Apocalypse” are Sandra Postel and Aaron Mandell.

Postel is co-founder of the Global Water Policy Project, a fresh-water initiative that works to secure our water future.

“One way is to shrink that human water footprint and then restore flows and water to depleted rivers and eco-systems,” she says. “So we’ve been piloting this in one of the most water-stressed basins in the world, which is the Colorado River Basin.”
