Jenny Kassan, the attorney who claims to have instigated the crowdfunding exemption that eventually became the JOBS Act by petitioning the SEC in 2010, now says she has grave concerns.

It is “very different from our original idea,” she wrote in a media statement. “Vague provisions will make it difficult to implement, the maximum allowable investments … are much higher than our original proposed cap of $100, and without income or net worth verification, investors stand to lose more than they can afford.
