After COVID-19, we can return to stressful disconnected lives and climate catastrophe or we can slow down, scale down and rebuild our connections to each other and to the Earth.
On June 21, our friends at Local Futures are hosting an online festival of ideas and inspiration in celebration of World Localization Day. The goal? To inspire lasting structural change for the wellbeing of people and planet.
They will be streaming a 3-4 hour pre-recorded event of talks, discussions, short films, music and humour involving voices from every corner of the world. Be part of this progressive, inspirational and life-affirming movement for change!
Nature of event: A rolling online programme of talks, interviews, music, short films and humour (total length: approximately 3 hours)
Key participants: Russell Brand, Annie Lennox, Brian Eno, Iain McGilchrist, Helena Norberg-Hodge, Charles Eisenstein, Vandana Shiva, Johann Hari, Damon Gameau, Gail Bradbrook, and many others (with other well-known public figures yet to be announced)
